Tried to run it for the first time and it failed with the following stack trace on ubuntu desktop 7.04:

Inappropriate?I don't know why this happens. Maybe it didn't find the native swt library? Is there anything special about your configuration? 64-Bit maybe?
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for the reply, yep - it's 64-bit Ubuntu. I've checked and I have both the libswt3.2-gtk-java and the libswt3.2-gtk-gcj libraries installed. Anything else I'd need?
-
Inappropriate?Wuala has some problems on 64-Bit systems. Unfortunately, we couldn't look into them yet as we don't have a 64-Bit machine in our office. I hope we'll get one in March so we can make Wuala run there.
-
Inappropriate? One month and still no 64bit system in your office? I bought mine 3 years ago and this is the first time, I regret it. I can't get Wuala to work. Looking at the error message it doesn't seem like an Wuala-related issue but the implementation of some fancy gui stuff...
I’m sad, disappointed
-
Inappropriate?Meanwhile we have a 64bit system in our office (Vista64 and Ubuntu 8.04 as OS) :)
Yesterday I was able to launch and run Wuala after a few changes (ubuntu 8.04). Even the file system integration was working. So stay tuned for one of the next updates.. -
Inappropriate?Well, this is really great news. I can't wait for the next release. BTW, how could I help to make wuala better? I noticed that there's a feedback function in the cli interface and I already used it. How do you get these feedbacks and how are you answering them?
I’m yahoo
-
Inappropriate? When sending feedback, an email is sent to bug_high_pro@wua.la. However, you won't get an answer unless you include your email address in the message. I've added a note that says this when the help for the feedback command gets printed.
-
Inappropriate? That is absolute awesome news. File system integration for x86-64 Linux will have me using Wuala everyday. Is there a version check for the Linux version so that I can tell when a newer version is out?
I’m ecstatic
-
Inappropriate? No, there is no external version check. But you can subscribe to our blog: http://wua.la/en/blog/. We will announce the 64bit Linux version as soon as we are ready!
I’m happy
