Mac OSX filesystem integration: save-behaviour
I do not know whether this is a bug or not: I try to use wuala on mac OSX 10.5. I want to work in the finder, rather than in the wuala interface. But when I save a file directly from an application in my wuala folder then it does not appear in my wuala folder in the finder. However, it does appear in the wuala interface. It also appears when I search for it in the finder, and it appears in the wuala folder in the finder, when I close down wuala and restart it. What is wring here, or is this intended behaviour?

Inappropriate?Hi ralente,
this could be an nfs-problem. Usually, it shoud be shown after a period of time. I ́ve tried to reproduce it, but I can see a file copied with drag+drop between 2 finder windows within a second. -
Inappropriate?hm, made some more tests: the problem only occurs in the wuala-documents folder that I have moved to my "orte" list in the left column of the finder. it does not occur in the wuala folder in "freigaben" in the finder. there seems to be a problem when moving a folder into "orte". This is for me a quite crucial feature, because it is a pain to double-click my way down the folder hierarchy (Wuala/myfiles/documents...) until I arrive at my documents.

Inappropriate?Guten Morgen Ralentepe ;)
(switching to german to get the point more clearly).

If you save a file out of an application into wuala, the osx finder will not show it in an finder-window although you can see the file with a list in the terminal. That means, the file exists in the nfs-Netvolume immediately, but the Finder will not update the syncronisation. It takes 30 seconds up to 10 Minutes till the file is shown in the Finder.
This Problem of the finder is descriped in some mac-related thread, earliest in 2006. I haven ́t found a workaround during my search. -
Inappropriate?thanks, at least you can replicate it. I hope that sooner or later there is a solution for this. thanks for such a great software and perfect forum-help!
