Problems with connection / only yellow status
Hi!
I'm using Wuala now for a week. I'm getting the status "Online", no problem, but only the yellow one. Sometimes, very rare, it gets the green one. But that happen maybe two times since i downloaded Wuala.
It's not able to connect with the external IP and if i try to test it, I'm only get this result:
Prürbindung...
Problem: Could not contact ping server A
Port is forwoarded on my router and i'm not using any firewall! Someone may has an idea??

Inappropriate?Press Crtl + Alt + X an the wuala Team gets a report. I think it is the same problem I had some days before: http://getsatisfaction.com/wuala/topi...

Inappropriate?Yeah. I've read it. But I would wonder myself, if the database has to frament it self on every startup.
Is it normal, that the program closes itself by pressing Ctrl-Alt-X ?
And the wuala team gets a problem report? -
Inappropriate?Yes, it close wuala. I forgot to tell you. The Team gets report which contains information what wuala does before you shut it down.

Hast du das Problem dann in den Griff bekommen? Oder geht es bei dir immer noch nicht? ich glaub nicht, dass es mit der datenbank zusammen hät. hab wuala jetzt ned stunde laufen und mein status ist immer noch nicht grü

Inappropriate?Das Problem war schon nach 2 Stunden behoben. Dauert halt ein bisschen je mehr Daten bei dir gesichert sind. Starte einfach wuala mal neu. Kann auch sein, dass deine Porteinstellungen nicht richtig sind. Wenn du WLAN nutzt kann es sein dass du die "Internal IP: 192.168.2.15" hast, beim nästen Mal aber dann 192.168.2.15. Musst ggf. die Porteinstellungen im Router äern.

Inappropriate?Porteinstellungen passen bei mir ziemlich sicher. In der Verbindungsoption steht ja eine interne IP & dort habe ich am Router dann den port geforwarded. Und neustarten tu ich eh auch die ganze zeit schon =/

Inappropriate?Die Nachricht "Could not contact ping server A" lät auf ein tieferliegendes Problem schliessen. Offenbar kommen die meiste Zeit keine UDP Pakete durch (alles was Wuala macht, wenn es die Verbindung zu Ping Server A prüst dem ein paar UDP Pakete schicken und schauen, ob was zurümt). Besonders seltsam ist, dass es ab und zu zu funktionieren scheint. Kannst du Dateien die grör als 300kB sind runterladen? Hier wird näich auch UDP benutzt.

Inappropriate?Naja, aber meine Firewall kann keine UDP Pakete mehr blockieren und ich glaub nicht, dass es der Router tun kann, oder?
Wie gesagt, hin und wieder, aber nur ganz selten kann ich schon auch gröe Dateien runter laden (musik und dergleichen). Meist bekomm ich jedoch die Fehlermeldung "Datei konnte nicht geöet werden!" -
Inappropriate?Das Problem kann durchaus beim Router liegen. Möcherweise ist der mit der grossen Anzahl Verbindungen ürdert, die Wuala erstellt. In dem Fall wä das einzige, was du tun kannst, auf die Beta Version zu warten, die nicht mehr auf UDP angewiesen ist (oder das ganze mal mit einem anderen Router oder einem anderen Internetanschluss zu versuchen).
