WiFi shared storage
Share storage with WiFi hard disks. I use Linksys WRT6150N WiFi router that supports an external harddisk. The router/conection is always on. Will this count for shared storage?

Inappropriate?Hi again,
as long as Wuala is running and in state "green" (or "connected" in nogui mode on linux systems), the time will count for storage, wherever you decide to save the wuala-path. -
Inappropriate?Hi. I think that you want to use only your router to earn space, am I right? If that is case, you have to run Wuala on your router. I don't know the technical details of Linksys WRT6150, but I seriously doubt that it can run Java+Wuala.
A lightweighted version of Wuala for these devices is a long-wanted feature... Can anyone from the team say if such a thing is on the roadmap?
I’m wishing that, someday, I'll be able to run Wuala on a toaster

Better stick to the more realistic goal of Refrigerator. -
Or Washing Machine -
Inappropriate?in that case, wuala is toast.
i leave the wifi on 24/7, with the disk (hdd) attached via usb, when i am not home. the notebook is attached only when i am working from home.
a media server (also on the wifi network) records tv programs and forward them for storage on the hdd even without the NB.
btw, the router is Linksys WRT610N (typo earlier). since more and more wireless routers provide for wirelesss storage, wuala should look into this.
also, my wireless connection is is encrypted.
thanks
I’m amused
