Windows 7 has been final, support file system integration.
The Wuala team is not responding to a topic that should now be solved. They said once Windows 7 is final, they will develop a solution to support it. They are ignoring the posts in that topic. Please know that Windows 7 has been final for weeks now. I am running the x64 build as of right now, it is Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600 x64. File system integration does not work, and a solution needs to be found for it now that Windows 7 is final.
Please note that MSDN and Technet subscribers now have access to the final build of Windows 7, so technically it is available to the public if they wish to subscribe to these services. This is no different from purchasing it in stores, both subscribers of these services and customers who purchase Windows 7 later in October are considered the public. So support for Windows 7 should be looked at now.
I cannot stream videos or music, etc. This is a major hassle I have right now, I do not use Wuala because of this issue. All of my machines are running Windows 7, all are not using Wuala because of this issue.
Please develop a solution.

Inappropriate? You just released a new version of Wuala and you didn't think of including file system integration for Windows 7? Hello, can anybody see this topic? Wuala, is anybody home?
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? We are working on this. The way we did file system integration before does not seem to be supported any more in Windows 7. If everything goes well, this will be resolved in a few weeks.
-
I'm very happy to hear about this. FSI is the only thing that wasn't working when I moved to Windows 7. Here's hoping the workaround isn't too difficult! -
Thank you! That's all I wanted to hear, the other topic hasn't been replied to since a long time ago during the beta of Windows 7. People keep asking in that topic including me, so I just created a new topic. Again, thanks for a reply! -
Luzius said that if everything went well, it would be solved in a few weeks. We're coming up on the 3 week mark, any chance we could get an update? -
Inappropriate? It's very interesting to see how many MSDN subscribers are in this forum...
I’m amused
-
It's very interesting to see how many people are going to purchase Windows 7 in stores legally when it is released to the general public. Maybe you shouldn't worry about where we got our copy of Windows 7 from, because it is not your business and I'm sure you had your hand in the cookie jar before. -
Inappropriate?Same Problem here. Tried to fix it after OS Install and found this page here. No clue what to do...
I’m confused and frightened
-
Inappropriate?@joe12: The fix will most likely also work on the beta and the RC and a lot of universities will supply their students with MSDNAA accounts which enable the download of Windows 7 Enterprise.
Back on topic: More than a month and still no fix for this issue. Whats going on?
I’m annoyed
-
Inappropriate?Have the same problem and i'm very sad about is. Wuala is one of 4 or 5 apps I usually use everyday. It's like breakfast and toothbrushing for me, but since I installed Win 7 Professional it's not working how it should -.-
Anything new?
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?Wuala is the *only* online storage service I've found that doesn't support FSI in Windows 7. You guys need to catch up!
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I am Electric Bolt, but I cannot login with my Windows Live ID credentials anymore, very odd, it's asking for my contacts and even then, I tryed everything and cannot login to Get Satisfaction.
Two days until public release when Windows 7 is in stores and still Wuala isn't fixed. Wow, Wuala must really not like Windows. As soon as the issue was on Snow Leopard, by a week later it was fixed. But they do nothing for Windows.
I’m confused
-
Argle-bargle! I know! Support has really gone downhill since LaCie took over. -
Inappropriate? One Day to go....Any News? Working hard on the Problem? I don't think so....
I’m pissed
-
Inappropriate?I think this topic will have a huge hitcount in the next days. :D
I’m sad bcs. Win7 Support is not working.
-
Inappropriate?win7x86 is supported now for fsi. the x64 support will need a bit longer. read the relnotes.

1 person says
this solves the problem
-
Sweet!!! Oh wait, I'm running x64... damn. -
The problem is, that Windows 64 does not accept unsigned driver. The driver is in the signing process... -

During boot you can select to allow unsigned driver. Also you can run Win7 in testmode in which it also allow unsigned driver. My win7 x64 is running in testmode normally and accepts unsigned driver. Please add the unsigned driver. -
Inappropriate?Would have been smart to give the drivers to the signing process BEFORE the official release....
-
Inappropriate?little update: you can use the flag -useDokan to enable Dokan on a x64 system. A signed version will be also released soon. -> http://bugs.wuala.com/view.php?id=161
