Inappropriate? If the error dialog to submit the bug doesn't show up, this sounds like a serious crash. What version are you using (Mac/PC/Linux)? Does it crash for every file? Does it only crash when double-clicking the file? Does exporting the file work?
-
Inappropriate?I use the Version Wuala PC 341 (ok).
It happens on allmoust all files (not all) when I doubleclick the files, when I click on "open with...", and when I click on "export"
Today I also noticed it when I click on other peoples free folders! -
Inappropriate?what happens when you only right-click and select "download...."
also crash? try to look for a very big file in wuala somewhere and then during the download process before it crashes generate a bug report with "ctrl+alt+x" keys pressed (ctrl=strg in german).
this could help the wuala people to track down your bug. -
Inappropriate?yes, then it also crash..
I tried to press these keys a few time bevore two minutes - where will I find the bug report?? -
Inappropriate?the report gets automatically sent to the wuala developers and the wuala program then closes like quitting... so you dont see the difference...
you can then restart wuala client again.
you can press ctrl+alt+x at any time inside the wuala gui-client. try it for yourself at other places in the wuala client where it doesnt crash.
just start wuala, login and then dont do anything else.
then ctrl+alt+x
then it will create the report, and quit wuala. done. -
Inappropriate?ok.. I started wuala again (it updated itself to 342 then)..
I pressed ctrl+alt+x - and wuala crashed! =(
I tried 3 times! -
Inappropriate?Ctrl-alt-x doesn't help much for bugs in general. It is designed to find performance issue by submitting a report when Wuala uses up all system resources. To catch any other bugs, you would need to hit ctrl-alt-x at the exact instant when the bug is happening, which is practically impossible.
-
Inappropriate? If the crash is caused by corrupt data, you could try to delete the local data from the Wuala data folder. You can delete the folders "Temp", "Meta", "Local" and "User" without affecting your online time and/or earned storage. (However, after deleting "Local", Wuala needs to redownload you backup files.) Does that help?
-
Inappropriate?no.. sorry dosn't helped...
I deleted "Temp", "Meta" and "Local". There is no folder named "User".
This files I let in the data-folder: HavelaarPrefs, LocalMap.db, LocalMap.lg, Machine.dat, NodeTable.ctm, Varia.jdbm.db, Varia.jdbm.lg
the program still crash..
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi thomalla
I've received the error report. A so called JVM crash seems to happen whenever you try to download a file. Unfortunately, I have no idea how or why this is caused... :( -
Inappropriate?and now?? =(
