Wuala team
WHY?
I hope you guys are okay, please do not forget to update the release notes for the last release(s) and try to communicate more in this "forum"!
Without your feedback our (beta testing) feedback becomes useless because nobody knows what has been fixed and where you need more testing, etc. etc..
Thanks and keep up the good work!
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate? They are working on fixing bugs. And going to conferences.
-
Inappropriate? And yes, they're reading this. I guess that there are too many bugs and too little time... The release notes for this week will come tomorrow
-
Inappropriate?Don't worry...we're all doing fine! :-)
As Deathbob and nmat said, we're working on fixing bugs, going to conferences, having meetings, etc. Tons of stuff to do...If you want to hear more about us, check out our Twitter account: www.twitter.com/wuala.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Glad to hear that, but you need to tell us which bugs are fixed.
Releasenotes like "many bugfixes" do not help the beta testers.
Maybe it's time for a real bug tracking system? -
Inappropriate?Hi,
its better to post it in the Wuala group. -
Inappropriate?how is posting a text file into a folder a bug tracking system ??
Bug tracking systems show besides description what's being worked on, if other users have the same problems, etc. etc. -
Inappropriate?Maybe someday. Although we (Masterminds) have kinda annoyed them on the Bug Tracker front...
-
Inappropriate? There was a discussion about that and there are different opinnions inside the team. Some like a bug tracker, some don't. Conclusion: things will stay like this, at least for now.
You can see resolved/reported bugs in wuala community group, which we are trying to keep organised. -
Inappropriate?Same opinion as joe12
(a real) Bug Track System is the best.
+1 -
Inappropriate?there are lots of big and small bugs, crashes, etc but new functions are implemented! Do you think this is a good approach??
I already have a hard time testing and checking if bugs still exist - especially if the release notes are as detailed as "various smaller issues"
+100 for bug tracking system
-
Inappropriate? You can see the currently known bugs in wuala community. however many minor bugs are still to be organized....
-
Inappropriate?putting text files into a public folder is NOT a bugtracking system
It's not possible to vote on a bug or see any updates and it is way too hard to stay organized
I simply don't understand this way of working on such a complex project as Wuala
-
Inappropriate? The biggest advantage of a bug tracking system is the ability to "track" this includes being able to search, browse, comment on open bugs/tickets. It makes prioritizing and reviewing much easier. The biggest problem I have with the system is that I haven't found an efficient way to browse through the bug/ideas posted. So I don't know if my problems are a repeat or not of others posts.
Also I don't have write permissions in the "_Please Post New Ideas HERE Thanks" folder in Wuala Group. So I can't even give feedback there. -
Just join the group... it's easy as that! -
Another thing that difficults the life of the people who don't speak german is the fact that half of the bugs aren't in english. If I want to submit a bug I have no idea if it was already posted... -
That's why we have the other masterminds. -
Yes, I know. What I mean is: a user can only check if a bug was already submited if he speaks german. Of course that he can report it anyway and the other masterminds + the wuala team will check if the bug was already submited... -
Inappropriate?I know that it isn't a bug tracking system.
The best you can do right now is go to the known bugs folder and take a look under the appropriate category... You can also submit the bug anyway and someone will check if it was already reported.
tbfnews, aren't you a member of wuala community? you must be in order to post new ideas and bugs. -
Inappropriate?I have the Wuala Group on the "My Groups" tab. And I have a right click menu option to leave the group. I'm listed as a Wuala Fan, which is the default for new members. However a Wuala Fan doesn't have write permissions. And I don't see any option to upgrade myself to a Wuala Evangelist which is required to write to the directory.
And when I as for a full list of the Wuala Fans from the group I don't appear. Even though my account says I'm a Wuala Fan. -
it's not the wuala group, it's the wuala community group. -
Inappropriate? In the wuala group, open the bugs shortcut then go up a directory, you will be at the wuala community group.
