Yellow online-state even though connection is suitable for trading
I've been stuck in the yellow online-state for a few days now.
My connection is suitable for trading, so I'm a bit puzzled about that. Is there anything I can do to reach the green online status? Restarting does not seem to help.
The computer is in the router's DMZ, so all connections should be forwarded.
Connection Check:

Got answer from Ping Server A, your external adress is /91.32.192.x:55023
Got answer from Ping Server B, your external adress is /91.32.192.x:55035
/91.32.192.x:7234 accepts incoming connections on configured port.
Congratulations, your connection is suitable for trading storage!

Inappropriate?Same problem for me, but I've only got this problem with one PC.
The only one with Win2003 (Web) if this helps -
Inappropriate? The problem seems to have been resolved for me. My online status has been green for a few days now. Unless the Wuala devs changed something, the only thing I can think of that might eventually have had something to do with it, was software suspending the computer while Wuala was running -- I'm not sure though.
-
Inappropriate?Ok, I experimented a bit and found out something strage about that "Yellow" status...
You can also get a yellow status if you have defect *.index files in you Data folder, even though everything else is fine! -
Inappropriate?Any way to tell if your *.index files are corrupted or to repair them?
-
Inappropriate? They are crypted I guess... I played a bit with them to try to get them recreated but this seems to be a task for the Devs..

Inappropriate?Same problem in Ubuntu Intrepid. Connection is perfect, port forwarded but wuala simply don't use that port. My online percentage is dropping every day. Looks like in several weeks I'll have to start deleting my files from wuala.
Obviously I don't want to simply delete ~20GB of traded storage to reset some broken settings or sth. There must be a better way to fix this.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Tried everything I can.
Moved wuala program, settings and data to another location. Downloaded fresh wuala executables, updated to 218 version. Connection is green 10% online time, connection allows for trading, but online time is obviously less than 17%..
Copied Machine.dat file from old settings so that my online time would allow me to trade storage. Started wuala. Program shows that I can now trade storage, connection green, online time 70% all OK until setting to trade storage. After pressing Save button online status changes to yellow.
So it's either corruption of Machine.dat which is somewhat unlikely or wuala simply refuses to register on specified port.
Waiting for wuala to update.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Hi,
Sorry for the trouble you're experiencing. We hope to get you back online asap. Could you send us your machine.dat ? We'd like to debug using the exact same file. Once you have sent us the file you need to stop using it for a few days. We'll update you with (hopefully) a solution.
Thanks for helping us out with this!

I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Unbelievable.
I have no idea what happened, but today Wuala works just fine!
Anyway, if it helps to identify what happened, I would be happy to send that file to you. Where can I post it?
I’m thankful

Maybe email to support@wuala.com -

Inappropriate?Hi,
No, we won't be able to work on the file if everything is working again. That would consume a lot of time - and in the end we might not turn up with something worth the while. Anyway, tell us if it stops working again, we'll be glad to help then!

Inappropriate? If this problem is marked solved, what is the solution ??
-
Inappropriate?Solved as referring to Knysliux001s problem. (more like .. gone away, but anyway) The original problem is almost a year old and hopefully solved too.
So joe12, you still experience this issue? The one Knysliux001 describes or the original one? Can you give us the description of your problem? Maybe you should even open up a new topic, since the original post now hardly relates to what you get today - too much of the underlying application has been modified since.
regards,
kaspar
