Apatosaurus not Brontosaurus
Not actually a problem but a correction. As far as I know a Brontosaurus is the body of an Apatosaurus and the head of a Camarasaurus, in other words theres no such thing as a Brontosaurus. More to the point, on the Blue Whale page (http://www.panda.org/what_we_do/endan...) it says a Blue Whale is bigger than a Brontosaurus and a Tyrannosaurus rex combined.

You are of course absolutely correct that there is no officially named species called a Brontosaurus.
I have corrected the text, but left in the more commonly known name of Brontosaurus for the Apatosaurus, so that most people have a clearer idea of the dinosaur that is being referred to.
I also checked the size issue (Apatosaurus+Tyrannosaurus < Blue whale).
By weight there seems to be little doubt that a Blue whale is bigger.
Apatosaurus (approx. 32 tonnes) + Tyrannosaurus (approx. 7 tonnes) < Blue whale (approx. 170 tonnes)
But if you take length into account, then you are again perfectly correct. The length of a blue whale would not exceed that of a Apatosaurus+Tyrannosaurus as far as the research indicates.
Apatosaurus (approx. 26m) +Tyrannosaurus (approx. 13m) > Blue whale (approx. 27m)
I have tried to make this clearer in the text.
Many thanks for bringing this to our attention. It is very much appreciated.
