You should be ashamed of your outright lie about the polar bears. They are not endangered. What a rediculous TV ad. Hopefully global cooling will cause you to go extinct!!

I guess you are talking about the ad that is currently running in the US?
Scientifically you are perfectly correct, the polar bear is not strictly classified as "Endangered".
According to the Red List it is "Vulnerable" (one level below "Endangered"):

But for the US Government it is listed under its "Endangered Species Act" :

And not many people would disagree that that polar bear is in danger.
And if something is in danger then the word to describe that simply, quickly, and without fuss, to a mass audience, without delving into the intricacies of various and multiple classification systems would be "endangered"?
Though of course we do fully appreciate your opinion on this.
And as mentioned, scientifically, you are perfectly correct... at least in the first part of your comment :-)
