import friends from phone: how?
When i choose 'import from phone' while in the 'find friends' tab, it asks me permission, which I grant, but nothing happens. Where on my phone is Xumii looking for contacts to import?

Xumii imports from the phone's Contacts (which may be called Address Book or some other name depending on your phone) into the Xumii friends list, where they will appear with a small phone icon; see "Jennifer Bennged" entry in the screenshot below.
If this still isn't working for you, could you let us know your phone model & carrier? Access to Contacts is restricted by some carriers to applications that they've explicitly approved.

Hi Richard, thanks for your reply. Yesterday this didn't work at all - but I just tried again, and it worked exactly as you said :-)
I don't see the difference between what I did yesterday and today, except that I waited a second between each request for confirmation this time. (I have to okay it about 4 times before it goes through, same for accessing images on my phone, is that normal? - N73 on T-Mobile Netherlands)
