Due to a disagreement I had a small group of people go back through my posting history and start reporting for no other reason than retaliation. When I asked for specifics I received a cut and paste reply with a refusal to actually explain the suspension. I was a top contributer and while topics became heated in politics at times I was by no means violating the policies and certainly did not deserve a suspension. It seems this is becoming the status quo at Yahoo as they allow the equivalent of teachers pets and children to police their system. I would like my account back that I had worked so hard to develop.

When I was on my emails a couple of nights ago, my windows defender wanted to install a programme, I allowed this to happen and then my wireless adaptor went off, my emails were open and I have not been able to get into my email address since.
Yahoo mail, only has SSL for login, and not for the whole connection.This is very unsecure for everyone.Gmail already has this. When is the yahoo mail planned to have the full SSL support.
My dad is locked out of yahoo after answering an e-mail from yahoo asking to verify username & password. Now city of birth & password no match. What happened and can it be fixed?

When I request my yahoo messenger history this error comes up. The causes me to loose messages since yahoo will log me out and if a message come in during that time it is not reported.

Recently I started getting violation notices without an option to appeal the violations. There are other people talking about same problem in the forum, but nobody knows what is happening or why and the YAT remains silent. Using the generic standard form is worthless because they allgo to the same place with no distinction between firt second or even third appeals. Without being able to effectivly appeal the false violation reports they will accumulate and eventuall result in acct termination! HELP!!!

We're developing an application that accepts YahooIDs for a Contacts list, and we'd like to add some basic validation to those entries. However, I can't find any documentation on the valid characters in a YahooID to validate against. I'm sure they're also normalized (lowercase), but confirmation would be great.
I work with a non-profit who has had a Yahoo Mail account for over 10 years. Recently (perhaps in conjunction with the changes to classic?), they have been locked out of this account.
My understanding is they have been unsuccessful in their dealings with Yahoo tech support because they don't remember one of the 4 question/response queries. I am hoping a Yahoo employee is listening who might be able to rectify the situation.
This particular e-mail account represents about 20hours/week of our non-profit's dealings over the past 10 years. Without it, at least 1/3 of our community is cut off from opportunities to seek help.
