Does yahoo instant messenger have a way to log chat history to the yahoo servers, so we can view conversations from anywhere by logging into our yahoo mail account? If not, are there plans to do this?
Recently the Spam filter on my yahoo account has gone nuts in false positives. On any given day, I might receive a number of notifications from Facebook and some news feeds - and now about 50% of them are ending up in the Spam folder. I keep clicking "not spam" - and verifying the address is in my Contacts list but it keeps happening. The killer is when I send email to myself from my yahoo account - it ALSO ends up in SPAM!! I have no filters - what's wrong here and how can I make it stop??? Thanks
PLEASE HELP! A YAHOO USER HACKER CANNOT BE STOPPED BY YAHOO?! MY ISSUE IS NOT THE SPAM! For the first time in over 10 yrs, my Yahoo mail has been hacked. This fraud started a week ago, and I have called and sent several reports on Yahoo mail-abuse. Not only did the hacker SPAM all My Contacts, but continues to show up in my forwarded and Sent Mail as 'From', AND also has a Yahoo ID as the 'Reply To'. I have had no help from Customer Service!
I received numerous messages that since you were updating I should use my outlook or outlook express to send and receive my mail. You wanted me to update my SSL. But I have a very old, slow computer and am not sure how to do this even with your help site. Now it seems that I am not sending or receiving my mail properly as you stated would happen. But I do not know how to correct the problem, and I never use my Outlook program and all my contacts are in yahoo on line and do not seem to be in outlook. You have really made it quite difficult for me now, what do I do? Joi
I’m really getting fed up with Yahoo! Mail’s terrible spam filter and am considering switching to a different service.
Lately I’ve missed a number of important emails from people in my address book because they were blocked by the Yahoo! spam filter, while every single damn day, a generous helping of Viagra ads, foreign money transfer scams, and porn site solicitations sail on through undetected.
Yahoo! could take the following simple steps to improve their spam protection:
1 - provide a “whitelist” feature like Hotmail does
2 - any email address I send to should automatically be added to my “whitelist”/address book
3 - any email with a date more than X into the future (1 year?) should be automatically flagged as spam. (a very large percentage of my spam has a date many years into the future)
Yahoo mail, only has SSL for login, and not for the whole connection. This is very unsecure for everyone.Gmail already has this. When is the yahoo mail planned to have the full SSL support.
