Cannot log on email

my wifes yahoo . She cannot get on to site. Apparently there was a problem and she tried and failed several times to log on without any success. What give?. has she lost all of her mail and addresses??????

  Hello, You can contact yahoo customer support. She may have mistyped or forgotten her password and typed in the wrong one too many times. Her account is still active, but may need to be reset.
