I can't access yahoo at all. Looks like their server may be down?
Yahoo doesn't load. Gives an error saying either I'm not connected to internet, site address is wrong, or host server is down.

I am using IE7 and I have the same problem with any Yahoo page I try to load--myyahoo, email, yahoo support sites, yahoo.com--basically any site with yahoo in the url. This has been happening intermittently since Wednesday night.
I have tried clearing my browser temp files and cookies, even the history, but that has not helped. This problem is happening on both my desktop and laptop computers. -
I tried pinging Yahoo.com, and my computer said it could not find the host. -
Inappropriate? This is happening to me too! it sucks i have a school assingment due and i saved it as a draft on yahoo mail! i hope i can get to to before 5pm today!!!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Ditto, Laura. Every Yahoo page -- mail and otherwise -- brings exactly the same result.
I’m irked
-
Inappropriate?Looks like they've changed the homepage to http://m.www.yahoo.com/
Don't really care for the new layout. Looks like an msn.com copy-cat.
Would've been nice to get a warning that they were going under maintenance.
I’m unamused

Inappropriate?Hi All,
At the recommendation of another site, I unplugged my router for a minute, and then plugged it back in. Problem solved, though why I'll never know! Strange that it only affected Yahoo.
I’m relieved

Inappropriate?that did not work for me platypus

Inappropriate?Try logging in at wap.oa.yahoo.com and choosing Mail
If it's accepted, then clear your cookies and cache in your web browser. That's the number one cause of this problem.
IE6: From the Menu Bar, do Tools | Internet Options | You land in the General Tab of a new pop-out small window titled Internet Options. Click on Delete Cookies and confirm, then Delete Temporary Internet Files and confirm. When completed, close the Internet Options window.
Firefox: From the Menu Bar, do Tools | Clear Private Data. Make sure only the Cookies, Cache and Authenticated Sessions tick boxes are checked, then proceed to clear those.
do you have the problem after clearing your cookies and cache/temporary internet files?
Yes or No.
If yes, does the problem occur when using another computer?
Yes or No.
If no, you have a problem within your computer's software, something Yahoo can't be remotely considered responsible for.
Many ISPs had a DNS problem which caused this problem not caused by Yahoo. Consider changing to OpenDNS which is free, fast and reliable; OpenDNS.com
I’m confident

Inappropriate? Can we start a "we hate Yahoo 9.0 club"? I have been having the same problems, plus it's preventing my other applications access to the web. This is a terrible product and customer service and tech support has been very negligent.
I’m beyond frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Mr. Felix, if it is an ISP DNS problem that is not caused by Yahoo, then why did we all get this problem when we loaded Yahoo 9.0? Don't like being shrugged off.
-
Inappropriate?I have about had it !!! I can go into the next room on my husbands computer and get Yahoo....but not on my computer. Now I can't get my Scotia bank as well ! What's up ? It doesn't matter who I phone..it is not thier problem !!
