  I appears that once you delete a yahoo account, you WILL lose all data that was associated with that account. You *may* be able to sign up with the same name (dreampns in the case of the original poster) but that is not guaranteed.

  i deleted my yahoo account two years ago and got it back on just last week so there is a way just bitch about it at yahoo. tell give it back because it is not really deleted at all. (Delete or Edit for 15 minutes)

  just send an email to yahoo support forum and ask to reactivate your account they will ask u for security question then if u answer it will be activated in 24 hours
