mail from yahoo mail account holders have severe delivery delays or not getting delivered
Last 1-2 weeks, myself and several other yahoo.com mail account holders have had delivery delays or failures with mail sent. On delivery failures, there is not even a failure notification - just goes into a black hole.

Inappropriate?Almost any provider will have issues with dropped mail however, Yahoo's issues as of late are just terrible. If you emailed their support, do not expect to have the issue fixed as the first level of support can only answer emails, they cannot actually *fix* issues (I was personally told this by a Yahoo! Email engineer who fixed a previous issue of mine).
I've been having an issue and despite sending Yahoo emails almost daily for 3 weeks, I haven't gotten my issue fixed. I'm also not surprised as this isn't the first time their support has been anything but.

Yep, that seems to be inevitable... On yahoo, the problems aren't going away... I've also had problems with the smtp server lately... ("wrong greeting" error) -
Inappropriate?I've had messages dropped (as in, they disappeared into thin air) as well, not to mention various problems loading messages in Beta. Definitely use your "Sent" folder! (You can change your preferences so it will save anything you send.)
