Someone hacked my Yahoo mail account, but didn't change my PW. Is it possible to view what was sent from my account if the hacker emptied the trash folder?
Someone recently got into my Yahoo mail account and sent out links to websites that host viruses. Luckily they didn't change my password and my friend told me about the email so I quickly changed my PW. Is there a way to view what e-mails were sent out if the person deleted them from the trash folder? Most of friends just got one email, but one is telling me she got 5. I'd like to know what someone was doing with my account if possible.

Inappropriate?Well you could check the "Sent" folder. If they are sloopy they may have left that.

Inappropriate? No he covered his tracks. I've been doing research and it looks like in order to see what emails the hacker sent I'll need assistance from someone at Yahoo... which means there's zero chance of solving my problem.

Inappropriate?Yea. Yahoo support is hopeless. You might try http://answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... . I am talking about his last resort answers. I have not checked them out to see if they are safe. Try at your OWN risk.

Inappropriate? It's tempting, but I don't want to risk it. When the entire internet tells you something is impossible and a website says they can do it for free there's probably something shady going on. Thank you for the info though.
