Yahoo is ripping off small guys like me!!!
I got a domain from Yahoo last year. I forgot I had that domain because I don't check my Yahoo mail account. I now use GOOGLE. This month I get my credit card statement. And this year they charged me $43.95 for Domain Manage Service. What is this? I don't need this. It's ok to renew the domain name. But $43 is crazy for one domain name. They are ripping me off. Go Daddy renews domains for less than $8. I did not authorize them to charge me that amount for a service I never need - this domain management service. I want my money back.
They are a billion dollar company and they don't even have an email support ticket system. I think that says a lot about how they care about their customers. They earn and pocket billions by cheating small people like me. And they don't want to spend a single cent for customer email support. They want to be like this and like that and play big time. But they can't even have the foundation for the most basic needs of a business which is customer support.
They charge me $43. Did they earn it? Or they force it upon themselves in their billing system to trap people like me. Where are all the money of small people like me going to? To their greedy pockets.
I know my voice will be drowned because they won't listen to me. But I hope one day karma gets back at them in a big way.

What you signed up for when you agreed to the Terms of Service.
> I don't need this.
Then cancel the plan before the anniversary date and you will be refunded.

Go there, go ahead.
> I did not authorize them
Yes, you did. Read the TOS, especially 5.1 and 5.2 which shows you did. Also see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smal... which reiterates the annual renewal policy mentioned above.
> to charge me that amount for a service I never need - this domain management service. I want my money back.
If you never needed it, they why did you sign up for it?
> They are a billion dollar company and they don't even have an email support ticket system.
Wrong.

To pay for the support system you won't use, for one thing.
I’m thrilled

Thank GOD, nerds were created.

GODADDY lets you cancel a domain within 30 days. YAHOO wants to sucker people that's why they don't let people cancel after registering.
Why? Because YAHOO is too afraid it will lose clients.
>Chopped liver?
I found their support email
Now let's see how much YAHOO wants to keep my $43 to pay for something.
I’m ok for now
