Inappropriate?1. Clear your cookies and temporary internet files (AKA cache), exit from the browser, then restart the browser.
2. If you are a home user and do not pay for a static IP address, get a different dynamic IP address; do
[Start] > [Run] > cmd > ipconfig
{{write down the IP address, then disconnect from the Internet with}}
ipconfig /release
{{wait a few minutes and then reconnect with}}
ipconfig / renew
{{compare the new IP address to the old to make sure your IP address changed, then try again}}
If you are an office user, try someone else's PC which will have a different IP address.
3. Log into Yahoo through a different country's server. I.e. if you usually log into Yahoo via http://login.yahoo.com/ or http://mail.yahoo.com/ then try http://login.korea.yahoo.com/ or http://nz.yahoo.com/
4. Access your Yahoo mailbox via http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/
5. Use a different browser. Use Firefox (free download from mozilla.com) if you normally use IE or Safari.
6. If you have a web accelerator (mostly an affliction of dial-up users) then try turning it off.
7. If you use a proxy server (mostly a corporate user thing) then try turning it off.

no, non of this are working.. i tried this all and also i changed the network too.. (that mean another ISP net with different public ip address) & browsers and even computer.. non of them are working.. but i can open my another yahoo mail account in same computer without any problem. -
Inappropriate?Uhh... skip #2 if a home user. Instead, for step 2 above,
Collect your dynamic IP address from speedtest.net (4th number on left) or some other site. Write it down.
Turn off your modem / cable modem / DSL modem / wireless modem and (if you have one) your router.
Wait 120 seconds at least by the clock.
Turn back on the modem / cable modem / DSL modem / wireless modem.
Wait 60 seconds by the clock at least
Turn on your home router if you have one.
Collect your dynamic IP address from speedtest.net (4th number on left) or some other site.
Compare it with the previous address. If different, OK; if not, then use another PC with a different IP address to test with, or contact your ISP for assistance in using a different IP address for diagnosing the Mail problem.

Inappropriate?Yahoo mail error code 1 / Yahoo mail Fehler #1
I have the same problem occuring now for nearly half a year right now. I am successful with the login process say on the 10th or 20th login trial and receive each time I want to read a mail 2 error notifications. I may be glad if I can continue the session without being thrown out due to error code 1.
I wrote at least 10 e-mails to yahoo and filled the error reporting sheet at least 20 times already, but the request was neither answered nor was the problem fixed, yet.
Since it does not seem that the yahoo mail-team is looking for solving the problem the only thing you can do is switch the e-mail provide (let's say to googlemail, hotmail or whatever). The only problem is that you cannot switch your main e-mail account to another provider from one day to another. Nevertheless, I try to move my main-account to googlemail. Hopefully, I will be able to finish this process within half a year, so that I do not rely on the yahoo mail account anymore .

Has anyone else had severe issues accessing Yahoo Mail?
I've been logging in for several weeks now and all that I'm presented with is 'Sorry for the inconvenience, we've got a temporary problem'.
Well I think temporary is rather an understatement, how can such a huge mail provider get away with this? It has driven me to open a Google Mail account, which is far better - but, what for all the emails I have not been able to read?
I've sent emails to Yahoo reporting the error with absolutely nothing back. This is pretty ridiculous now.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?1) See
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/...
and
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Y-Mail/..."Error+Code+1"&submit=Search&charset=ISO-8859-1
which shows this problem is related to the individual account on the individual server. From the Y-Mail blog FAQ http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-Btg2Sg...
Q: What can I do if I get error code 1?
Ryan Kennedy:
If you are experiencing error code 1, the page you see should have text on it that says:
"If you think you've been more than patient and tried the tricks above, feel free to contact Customer Care about Error Code 1."
The final bit of that text ("contact Customer Care about Error Code 1") is a hyperlink. Click on it. That's how you report error code 1 problems to our customer care team. I was up in Oregon and I sat with customer care and watched them expertly handle this situation. If you go through the channels we have provided, you can get this issue resolved pretty easily.
2) If you can capture the server data, include it in one last web posting to support which includes all the previous requests and responses. Create the summary of all prior messages in Notepad or suchlike, and then go into your web mail. When you get an Error Code 1 again, do this to make sure your web-sent request for help gets to the right department: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qi...
3) If you do get bast the Error Code 1 bug, immediately switch to Mail Classic. It runs faster.
4) If you've tried the diagnostics I posted above without resolution, then I would try Zimbra desktop (available for Windows, Mac and Linux). Zimbra accesses your mail through a different server, and it may allow you to download your messages into your computer, so you can build a Contacts list. For the free download visit http://www.zimbra.com/products/deskto...
Then, migrate your mail from old to new account; see
http://www.ymailblog.com/blog/2008/06... and 3) below.,
5) If that fails, create a new account, perhaps at ymail.com; sign up at mail.yahoo.com as before, but instead, when asked for your desired address, there's a spin box where you may select the domain for your new address, with the choices of yahoo.com, ymail.com and rocketmail.com - make your choice there. This does not apply if if you sign into mail through a national domain, i.e., mail.yahoo.ca, mail.yahoo.co.uk or whatever.
Then, migrate your mail from old to new account; see
http://www.ymailblog.com/blog/2008/06...
4) and 5) both:
Then, once you have your mail, and contacts, send a message to all your contacts advising of your move to the new address.
I’m hopeful
