Hello there, I am kinda tired of looking for answer in all the wrong places and still didn't find a real contact link beside here to resolve my problem. So let's hope it will work!
I have open a new account 4 days ago (wintvnews) and it doesn't show when you do a channel search. I also uploaded three videos and can't find them on search but anyways they do not show on my channel or my admin either and yet are uploaded...?
(I have a second channel for months (1love2be) so I know what I am doing) but now they are up and I tried everything, from changing my channel to another or changing the tags and the titles... but no can do :(
At last I placed my question in the forum in about three different threads where people experience the same problem and no replies are coming to light my way.
Thanks if you can resolve this glitch or at least guide me for a contact.
best!
Giorgio
11 hours later : I juts found out by a youtube user that he found my channel in random... yet I still can find in on search or see my vids and so does he!
Replacing existing videos would be a nice feature. The version of a video I have up on YouTube has a name missing from the credits. I have added that name to the credits on my end, but I don't see a way to *replace* the old version of the video with the new version. I would prefer not to delete the old version because, not only will I lose all comments, ratings and view counts, but I will also lose the URL that is already linked to from elsewhere.
I have started to use the multiple uploader, which is a brilliant idea YouTube (y), and I haven't had many problems with it until recently.
3 days ago I uploaded a video just over 100MB, well under the 1GB YouTube multiple uploader allows, and it went up without a hitch.
For the past two days I have been trying to upload similiar videos and each time the uploader will cut out around a percentage (usually around 80%) and the status will return to saying 'uploading...' as it does at the start.
I have tried just uploading one video on it at a time rather than 3 in a queue but I'm still getting the same problem.
It gets incredibly frustrating having to wait up 2 hours+ at a time for an error to occur without and reason given as to why it's cutting out.
Any idea why the uploader is behaving in this way?
Whenever I try to upload a video on youtube, it says the video file is too large (my video is only 5.94 MB). I've uploaded much larger files before. What should I do?
