Having video titles in the URL
Here's my idea on a YouTube feature.
Having a YouTube URL with the video title in it.
Example formats:
I know shorter URLs are better, but why not have them both?
Please share your thoughts,
Thanks

Inappropriate?Wouldn't work. Can you imagine how many videos there would be for a song? You would have multiple same url's. Won't happen.
-
Inappropriate?Ya, I noticed it's not gonna happen, but your argument makes me think you are not thinking creative.
A simple example would be:
http://www.youtube.com / TJ9Cf0k2Xxo / When_I_See_Love-Lizz_Fields -
Inappropriate? That would defy the point of having a url with video titles surely?
Unless you're thinking so that people can see what they're going to be watching before they watch? -
Inappropriate?Well yeah, it's mainly for being able to know what's behind the link.
A perfect link:
http://games.slashdot.org/story/09/08/19/173259/Fable-III-Announced-For-2010
Without going to the page, you will know it's about Games, that it's a story on something and not just some video or image, you know the date (2009 August 19) and even see what it is about more specifically. -
Inappropriate?I suppose that could make sense...
