Support Open Video!
The bugs linked here: https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP... and here: https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP... have made Youtube almost completely unusable for me with Firefox on my still fairly-new Intel-Core2Duo Macbook (pretty much the very last set to be released before Leopard). The root of the problem: dependency on Adobe Flash.
Many modern browsers such as Firefox 3.5 and Google Chrome support the video tag feature of HTML5 which can help overcome this problem. With Dailymotion's announcement of ogg theora support, my question is this: Is there any potential for Youtube to do the same?
