The new bookmarking feature on the iPhone app is great! But what would be even better is a way to sort bookmarks into folders, and make notes/comments on verses from your phone. I love the app though, keep up the good work Youversion!
The Bible reading plan will always show one chapter per book per day, even when it should include more than one. Such as 1 Thess from Nov 17th. Currently I have to look at tomorrow's reading to see where it picks up to know how far I have to read today.
I download the offline translation to my iphone successfully. But from time to time say 1-2 wks, the downloaded material will disappear and I need to download it again. I've done that a few times. Is it supposed to 'expire'? Thanks,
I can't download any of the offline translations. It always stops mid-way (best I got is 2.9MB) and the message "There was an error downloading this translation." comes up. The same result for all translations.
I keep losing my downloaded translations. Shouldn't these remain on my iPod for non wifi areas? I can download and use a couple of times, then it's gone.
I've been able to fetch all the verses of some bible translations of my own language.
It would be nice if you publish a text format keeping the bible database, and let the users add their own translation by creating the database file themselves.
This way, the users will add their own bible translation at their own risk and you wouldn't have to suffer for copyright issues.
How about a selection of multiple verses for a bookmark (like expanding a picture, hold a finger on the start verse and slide the other finger to select a group of verses) rather than just one. (Or a group to email instead of just one...)
Offline versions should be offline.
I know you are working on this. But for users of ipod touch over here in Europe I am most the time offline. And it should not be difficult to tell, if I use a license-free version (Elberfelder) or not. License-free version should be immediately offline for use, for other wise the program is of no use.
Thanks for looking into this.

Great job in building this product!!! Look out for words in the text without spaces in them like James 2:5 "...berich..." I think should be "be rich". I noticed some more in Luke. However I can't remember where. I think that this is something that should be address as soon as possible, for the obvious reason that mistakes in text hinders the belief, or trust, in the reliability of the Content (not of the Scriptures in and of themselves, but the format in which you are presenting it).
It would be nice if on your iPhone it went to split screen when you went into horizontal mode. This could allow you to compare translations side by side.
