after plugin install (WP2.5.1) the following message appears within Zemanta area in edit page: ooops, something went wrong. I get no suggestion and the plug in is useless.
Discrepancy between Zemanta on Blogger and WordPress. I converted my posts in Blogger to Wordpress.org. Zemanta will give you suggestions for labels, however this is transfered as Categories in Wordpress.org and NOT tags. When you use Zemanta on Wordpress.org it wil give suggestions for tags and NOT labels.
I only found out recently ad it is confusing, to say nothing of making a mess out of my posts.
Blogger pasted or hand coded hyperlinks have extra "www.blooger.com" prefix before the desired URL on preview or publishing, Zemanta pasted links are unaffected, is this due to Zemanta?
I made a blog post about shoes ( http://www.wizardstower.co.uk/wordpre... ) and the tag suggestions were Image Galleries, Adult, Ethnic, Ebony, Free, Butts, Harcore, Teens...
Hello, on your web site you write that you would support the Opera web browser. Sounds good, but somehow I am not able to use Zementa using Opera and the Wordpress Plugin.
I'm using the latest Wordpress version and the latest Opera stable version (9.5). I have waited five minutes but the loading status "Retrieving suggestions..." is not changing. I can click hundred times on the "Update in XXX seconds" button - but no change.
On Wordpress 2.5.1 the Firefox-AddOn does not work, when you install qTranslate in wordpress, to make multilingual posts.
After activating that Wordpress-Plugin, the Zemanta Box is disappearing.
I included the ReBlog link at the end of my latest post at http://www.everydaygivingblog.com/200.... When I click it I get an error page that says "We can't find blog you have requested for rebloging." Is there something else I need to do for it to work?
I just upgraded and suddenly no topics are being suggested at all. It just loads and loads, but nothing happens. It worked perfectly before. This is my subdomain (which is a work in progress) but I can't get the posts I'm putting in to the same quality as my main domain because there's nothing happening. I use WordPress and host on a server.
I recently installed the Zemanta plugin for Movable Type, and I can't get it to work. It just sits there "retrieving suggestions" but never actually retrieves anything.
Zemanta was not loading -- not even in the browser bar -- so I uninstalled and went to re-install it. I keep getting a message reading "Firefox could not install the file at
https://static.zemanta.com.s3.amazona...
because: Unexpected installation error
Review the Error Console log for more details
-203"
I installed the Firefox extension but it is disabled saying it is not compatible with my Firefox version which is 2.0.0.14 (used with Windows XP SP2). Please help. Thanks.
Being a stickler for punctuation, spelling and grammar, I find the zemanta position overlapping WP 2.5.1's write screen irritating. It's causing me to publish my article, proofread it on the blog, then go back and edit it to make any needed corrections. Can you scoot it to the right about 20 pixels?
I am having problems with LiveJournal. There is no error message, and now that I have my journal defaulting to Rich Text mode the Zemanta sidebar appears. [Andraz saw it fail when the default was HTML].
The Firefox error console has a bunch of messages regarding the CSS of the LJ site skin [Silver?].
I use the Deepest Sender extension to edit my Live Journal weblog. Is there a way to make Zemanta work with Deepest Sender? I have installed Zemantha, but even when I edit online after logging in to my LJ account Zemanta doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Zemanta admin sidebar needs to be able to be repositioned further down. As it is now, have to scroll way, way down to find the 'Save' button with the wordpress 2.5 upgrade. this is a hassle that many have complained about before Zemanta. If you can't reposition Zemanta, few will want to use it. my wordpress 2.5: http://blog.talesofkingtut.com/2008/0...
Looks good in blogger: http://reneodeay.blogspot.com/
not a hassle with blogger, since save/publish is still in same place.
After adding Zemanta suggested links and pressing save, the screen freezes approximately 2 minutes then goes blank. I'm not able to get back into the application for another 5 minutes, the saved content is where it should be. This happens consistently, even after clearing the cache, what can I do?
My WordPress account has been suspended for no apparent reason. After checking the WP forums, they commonly suspend blogs for advertising/excessive linking and so on. Seeing that Zemanta adds a link to its site every time a blog post is zemified, I think that that's what may have caused it. I'm very distraught as I've been blogging for 2 years and nearly 500000 hits.
In this blog post about Xobni - http://www.wizardstower.co.uk/blog/20... - Zemanta never suggested the Xobni logo as a picture to use. I would have thought that as the Xobni logo is in Wikipedia under Xobni, and the post has the word Xobni in it lots that Zemanta would have suggested that picture to me.
Please use valid, semantic markup.
The list of links is using a fieldset with legend. However, these should only be used inside forms. I have to re-write the code everytime I use zemanta links. I remove the fieldset and change the legend to an h3.
I'd also prefer the option of no inline CSS styles on links. Not to mention the target="_new".
To summarize.
1. Don't use invalid code (fieldset/legend without a form)
2. Give us an option to have plain markup instead of the inline styles and such.
