The company has this under consideration.

Inappropriate? Can you elaborate a bit more in detail how this would work?
-
Inappropriate?it would appear that zemanta only sees web sites ,blogs and wikipedia , it would be great if it could see the primary biomedical literature (Pubmed )http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/. Academic professors , grad students would be the market .Scientific journals might be very interested since it would "enforce' correct citation in scientific papers. ALos biomedial papers would be much more readible I guess that zemanta would have to recognize a phrase and look thro pubmed to find papers > i am an editor for a science journal , i can enquire if they would be interested

Inappropriate?Henry, very interesting. So we already include two similar databases:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
http://www.itis.gov/
We would be very much interested in talking with different providers about integrating more of their content into Zemanta and how we could help each other.
Probably the best way to continue this discussion would be over email. If you can send your email address to bostjan@zemanta.com and he'll be able to make further steps towards adding this functionality to Zemanta.
Thanks for sharing your idea!
I’m excited about where this could lead!
The company and 1 other person think
this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I agree with this idea, although I would like to see it expanded to social sciences not just sciences. There are a number of document repositories who may be willing to collaborate. Here are a few:
ELDIS (http://www.eldis.org)
AJOL - African Journals Online (http://ajol.info/)
Directory of Open Access Journals (http://www.doaj.org/)
My website: http://www.sociolingo.com using wordpress 2.82 from wordpress.org
I’m happy
