can't confirm
I have installed Zemanta but do not get the "confirm" tab so I can "run ActiveX control".... On the footbar I have a red x instead of the orange + ....? When I check my plug ins under Tools, options, programs, Zemanta shows up .....

There's a bug in our welcome screen, to get the ActiveX confirmation, just start composing new blog post or email and the first time Zemanta will activate, it's going to pop-up.

Inappropriate?Nope, unfortunately, it didn't work. I composed a new blog post, two emails - one my regular cable provider and one from gmail. Neither initiated the pop-up. ?? -

Inappropriate?OK, the message I get when I go to the above http is " Zemanta extension disabled or not installed." I reloaded (and selected repair) the program but still no luck. ?? I've rechecked my addons under tools, etc and Zemanta is enabled. Maybe I should give up??

Inappropriate?If there is a red cross instead of an orange plus in means your Zemanta extension is disabled. Click on the red cross and click "Toggle". This will enable your extension.
