How do you get amazon links? I've entered my id but nothing seems to happen.

Amazon suggestions work as links to your text. To get them write about a book, as we find that book in our database, we'll give you a link suggestion just below your writing field, when you click that link, you will get a link to amazon (and sometimes there is also option for wikipedia), that link then will have your Amazon ID inside.

Inappropriate?There's nothing else we have to do? Because I just entered a blog post that included a reference to the iPod Touch as well as some other products that Amazon stocks and the only links that came up were for Wikipedia.

Inappropriate?@darrindickey: Ahh, that's true. We don't link right now to Amazon products, just books. That's a bit of bad description on our side. I'll talk to our engineers if we can start including other products also and I'll try to get the description on page more accurate.
@mikey: we have quite large collection of amazon book links, but not whole Amazon yet. What could be also happening is that we don't recognize something as a book, or we think that other terms are more interesting.
If you send me links to your blog posts that we didn't find Amazon links for (to jure@zemanta.com), I can ask our engineers to take a look and see what we can do to make suggestions for your type of posts/books work in the future.
I’m confident that we'll make Amazon feature better ASAP
