I can't log in because I'm already registered?
I can't log in to Zemanta preferences with Safari bookmarklet.
I have previously used Zemanta with Firefox, but I don't wish to use Firefox with Snow Leopard as not happy with performance. So I'm forced to use Zemanta with Safari.
When I try to login i Zemanta sidebar on Blogger Dashboard, I get following message:
The mail you have supplied is already registered on Zemanta. If you want to claim this, just log in.

Did you have to enter your password twice? If so then you were using the registration form.
Instead of registering again, you have to click the "login with the existing account" link below the register form on the preferences page. This way you will automatically merge the preferences from your Firefox extension with the preferences you see in the Safari bookmarklet.
