The problem I have with Zemanta is that it is redundant to my needs, but more to the point I do not appreciate a service which provides me links to porn sites when blogging about jewelry. I would prefer to see Zemanta gone altogether as I do not need to have a search engine think for me, but regardless the most basic of filters or an ability to turn Zemanta off is not just required, but necessary.

Inappropriate?Deborah, I'm sorry to hear that you've found adult content in Zemanta. Can you maybe find a blog post that you've written and provided you with that link, we'll make sure to remove it from Zemanta and investigate what happened.
If you want to temporarily disable Zemanta, you can click on the icon (in URL bar in Firefox or status bar in IE) and disable it until you need it.
