Is Zemanta working with the latest wordpress?
Using the latest wordpress 2.8.1, and the latest zemanta plugin for wp. Getting this error:

Thanks for your report. This error message means that WordPress does not have write permissions to the directory where it wants to upload images inserted by Zemanta.
If you changed the image upload path in Zemanta Configuration page, please check that the user account your PHP scripts are using can write to that path.
If you didn't change anything there, can you please post a screenshot of your Zemanta Configuration page? Go to your WordPress dashboard, choose "Plugins" and "Zemanta Configuration" on the left.
