Inappropriate?I'm sorry you feel this way. Could you tell me what bothers you about it?
You can uninstall it by going to Tools menu and selecting Add-ons. When a dialog with a list of extension pops up, select Zemanta and click on Uninstall. You should be rid of it after Firefox restart.

Inappropriate?Note also that you can turn it off either for a page, or for the browser, without uninstalling it...

Inappropriate?I'm unable to uninstall Zemanta the regular way through the add-ons list. I can disable it. I found that it was causing firefox to slow down. Is there another way I can uninstall it?1 Comment Add a comment

Zemanta is a native Firefox extension so there isn't another way as we just use the infrastructure Firefox provides us. What's the error you're receiving? -
Inappropriate?There's no error. I select uninstall and then it says that it will be uninstalled upon the firefox restart, just like every other add-on. But when I restart firefox, it's still there! I can disable it successfully.1 Comment Add a comment

Sorry for that, it looks like a Firefox issue :( Keep it disabled for now and try to remove it in further Firefox versions.
