When Will Zemanta Support URL Arguments?
OpenCalais allows a URL to be given as an argument instead of content. It will then parse the URL and extract content and cache the results.
Does Zemanta plan to allow URLs to be given as arguments, instead of content?

Inappropriate? From our experience different services don't really do a very good job at finding out what is the 'meat' of the specific page and what is clutter. And then you get all kinds of unrelated stuff returned.
Which is your native platform? There are different libraries that can do 'meat' extraction for you and you can tune them to your specific needs [for example for perl]. After you have that you can send it to our API.
So what is your exact need?

Inappropriate?Hi,
I'd really like to get to know your needs regarding GET responses? -
Inappropriate?I asked about extacting page "meat" at stackoverflow -- http://bit.ly/MwvpG.
I've setup something basic as suggested with beautifulsoup, but because opencalais does offer to parse pages with their semanticproxy service, it would definitely be a welcome addition if zemanta matched this feature.
