zemanta icon in address bar
I think the Zemanta icon in the address bar is unnecessary.
It provides hardly any functionality - it just lets you switch Zemanta off by clicking on it and displays whether or not Zemanta is displaying on the current web page.
Most of the time you're not going to be blogging so the icon is completely irrelevant to what you're doing. It takes up space and there's no option to switch it off.

Inappropriate?John, I agree with you that there should be a way to turn it off. We'll have something regarding this for our next iteration.
Interestingly enough, it proved quite useful with the first wave of users as they had an easy way to confirm that the installation worked.
