mypicksbeijing not ready for primetime
mypicksbeijing app user interface is disappointing. Can't resize the selection window to see all athletes. It keeps defaulting back to carousel view every time. Many athletes are missing from the events, even favorites. Very few athlete pictures. Definitely not ready for prime-time and gives zembly intro on facebook a lousy 1st impression.

Inappropriate?Thanks for your feedback. We are constantly working on adding additional athlete pictures. On the accuracy of the data, could you tell us the specific events that the athlete information is missing. We will speedily work on remedying the data.5 Comments

One of the events was the Womans Saber, it was missing Sada Jacobson, Becca Ward and Mariel Zagunis. There were a couple others in swimming events, but I don't remember them. Also the individual cycling had countries but not athletes. -
Something else that would be nice (once you have the athlete pics) is do display the pic and not just the name when you roll-over with your cursor on the front page view of your selections. Do the same when you show the actual medal winner view. If you have the athlete bios, you could provide it if the picture was clicked. I also think the 'event' name should take you to the selections and use the medal selection area for the pic's and bios as mentioned above.....just thoughts.....

We did update the Women's sabre to include Zagunis, Jacobson, and Ward. Hope you made your picks on them, because they finished 1-2-3.

We deliberately had countries for cycling - because we did not want you to pick from 140+ individuals! If the individual you wins is from the country you picked, you get points.

Great that you got it updated! Unfortunately for me, I didn't get back to the game in time to update my selections to the Americans...oh well. Enjoy the games! -
Inappropriate?I wanted to add that we have fixed the issue of not persisting the view (if you are already logged into the app, just remember to refresh the page). So, if you change to table view, it stays in table view.
