I’m frustrated

My embedded videos aren't showing when I view my quests.

I am presently creating a Quest entitled "Moving and Viewing Around Second Life." I have embedded 2 YouTube videos in this quest. The big boxes appear in the editing version but they don't appear when I look at the actual quest.
What am I doing wrong? Can I view something from the students' POV or does it not show it to me because I am the developer.

  • So, if that quest and the embed code is a little wonky. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the iframe source or not but it is not working correctly.

To successfully embed a video, visit the dedicated page for that video and select the URL at the top of the page. Then, in the 3-D GameLab WYSIWYG, select the video embed tool from the toolbar. Paste in the URL into the appropriate field and it will write the correct in that code for you.

The other way to do this is to copy the embed code from the video itself and paste it in using the HTML editor in the WYSIWYG. Give this a shot and let me know how it goes.
