7Note requiring an internet connection
I purchased 7 Notes and itt worked fine for awhile. Now it refuses to open on my Kindle fire unless I have an internet connection. That was never part of the agreement! Why is your app refusing to work without internet?

You don't need internet connection for opening a note.
It is necessary to send a note to Twitter, Facebook, Email, Dropbox, any other external resources.
I always use the Kindle Fire version without internet.
Does the app fail to run or fail to open a note?
Do you have any message?
You can run the app and open a note with internet connection. Right?
Could you try to power off your Kindle Fire?

I am not sure why but every time (past 7 days) I went to open 7Notes (at work - no internet connection) a warning appeared and said "An internet connection is required". This was only happening on the 7notes application and only in a place where wireless internet was not accessible. When I got home yesterday evening, I turned on my Kindle Fire are left if connected to the internet for most of the evening. I am back at work know where there is no wireless internet connection and I am no longer getting the error. I wonder if 7Notes was trying to do some kind of update which would have required a connection. If that was the case, then 7Notes needs to redesign it's update process so there is no "Denial of service" to the application simply because it can't find an internet connection to do its updates.

7notes does not need the connection while you edit a note.
There is no updates from internet.
The following is my guess:
Probably you sent a (long) mail or post a (long) note to Facebook, Twitter, or Evernote, etc.at your home.
Did you do that?
But the process was not finished for some reason, the connection was not stable, slower, etc.
After you went to your office with the device,
7notes was continuing to access to the internet.
Then the error message appeared.
After you went home, this time the connect was successfully made.

I had the same exact problem last Wednesday. I was at the martial arts gym where my family and I have a little sporting fun, and while my young daughters were in their kids class, I was attempting to make some notes on a technical book that I am reading. Same exact problem as MonteD! There were absolutely none of the possible issues going on that you have mentioned. It would begin to run the app, display the ruled lines, post a message that the app doesn't work without a connection and then shutdown. Since then I have connected to the wireless in my home and now it is not having the _problem_ any longer. MonteD was right, this is none of the things that you mentioned, and tried to blame this issue one... I say it's either bad coding, or some sort of required update issues. This almost made me resent purchasing this product since it doesn't work all that good in the first place.

I could not reproduce the same problem.
Could you me an error log file?
You can take it from:
Settings app > General > About > Diagnostics&Usage > Diagnostics&Usage Data >
You may find a file in which "7notes" is included.
If there is a file, please send the file to eninfo@7knowledge.com.
