7Notes, stylus friendly? Not!

We need a Palm Pad now. Tried WritePad and it didn't live up to its promise, although I did like that it has the ability to learn from your writing style (you should add this). This [7Notes] is a much better text recognition app, but it seems like it is made only to write with your fingers and not with a stylus, which is kind of an oversight if you ask me, specially with so many awesome tablets popping up lately. You would get so many more people on board if you could make this app more stylus friendly, specially on the Android OS where there are not as many app options as in iOS. All my personal devices are Android: Nexus 7, HTC EVO and soon Samsung Note. Also, zoom and more language options would be nice: Spanish and French would work for me, personally. Thanks! Xavi.

    Hi Javi,

    Thank you for your feedback.
I recognize we need to improve our app for stylus.

However, we have many positive messages.
    This is one of them:

The following video shows a handwriting demo with finger and stylus on Nexus 7.

  • Don't get me wrong. I love your app! But I think these few improvements would make you guys the undisputed best. Until now there is not a single app out there that has it all. Yours is close but not there yet. I meant this as a constructive criticism. Hopefully you'll update this app soon to make it perfect. After all, you haven't made a single update since you launched it 10 months ago. If you were to give the user the option of either finger writing or using "stylus mode" with a palm pad function, you would solve a lot of issues. Maybe you guys can offer all these options on Note Anytime when you release it and include the handwriting to text like in the Windows version, address all the issues that I've seen on this forum and charge 20 bucks for it. I would gladly pay for it and I'm sure tons of other people would too, specially now that different languages are supported.

    The Best.

    Javi.

    P.S. Thanks for the links!

  • I’m confident
    Javi:

I've been using 7Notes on an iPad for a few days, and I found that a stylus with a microfiber covered tip works best. I just tried a blackbox Touch Stylus Pen, and it worked really well. In my opinion, Tru-glide and blackbox will do well on a device with a capacitative touch screen.
