Any tips on opening file created by 7notes using Word or PowerPoint?

Hi, I have just purchased 7notes HD Premium with the Evernote extension and so far very happy with the features and ease of use. It replaced MyScript Notes mobile.

I want to be able to export my notes to Evernote and then occasionally edit them in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, but cant see a way to achieve this. The .7doc file extension is not recognised by Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013. Any advice on how to access the text, even if it means cut and paste into another app? Thanks!

    Hi Stuart,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The 7notes note file is our original format.
MS Office apps cannot read the format file.
So please export a note as a text or image file to import it into an MS Office app.

    Thank you,
    Toshi

Dear Toshi, Many thanks for your reply, disappointing as it is.

The expensive add-on to connect with Evernote seems to have been an unnecessary investment I would say. I hope that you will reassess whether such a feature as MS Office compatibility could be achieved in future. You did not say whether that would be developed.

Meanwhile, I have followed your advice, but rather than use the Evernote add-on, I use Connect, Send to application, select Evernote and save the document as a .txt file, which can be imported into MS apps. Formatting is lost but it's better than nothing.

I hope you will take on board my comments and the views of several other users who would like to see better MS Office integration.
