Thank you for your question.

To change the format of a document, you can use "Document Style" or "Unit Style" from the Menu button.

To decorate a portion of text, it is necessary to select a region or an extent in a document first.
I think the current way to change decorations is natural.
What do you think?

This is fine for changing text decoration, but it would be easier if effects could be turned on, enter text then turn off when creating new text.
