First of all, check your account and its password are correct.
You can see them in [System] -> [Evernote] -> [Login Settings].

If they are correct, please try to use the Evernote app on your iPad
to log in the same account.

My login is correct in [System] -> [Evernote] -> [Login Settings], and I can log in to evernote app. Taking it a step further, I can go into [System] -> [Evernote] -> [Login Settings] -> [create account] -> [sign in] and successfully sign into evernote from within 7Notes, but still get the "Evernote Enhancements: Failed to Authenticate. Please try again" when clicking [Quick Save Setting]

Could you enter your account name and password again?

1. Clear your account name and its password in the Login Settings
2. Enter your account name and its password in the Login Settings
Please make sure they are correct.
3. Tap the Evernote button
4. Tap the System Settings button
5. Tap "DONE"
--> this is important: if you tap the Cancel button, your setting will be gone.

It might be a memory problem.

Could you try to power of your iPad and restart the app?

I've deleted my login info, killed the app, and powered off the iPad.

Result:
"Evernote Enhancements: Failed to Authenticate. Please try again"

We have never met this problem before.

Did you install (update) the latest 7notes HD?
Please let me know the verson numer ([System] -> [Version])
The version should be 3.0.2.

Did you purchase the Evernote add-on after you installed this version?
One more thing, is your iOS the latest version?

I figured it out. I'm on the corporate network, instead of the open network, and they must block some port.

Anyway mark this issue Solved, and I'm sorry I wasted your time.

You need to specify a proxy server in the Settings app.
But without the setting, how you can run the Evernote app on your iPad?

I have the same problem. When I switch to cell I don't get the error, but on the company WIFI I can't authenticate. I have no trouble logging into Evernote and using it over the company WIFI ????

I don't have access to an "open" WIFI network at work and I don't want to have to change my settings everytime I save to Evernote.

I can get IT to open a port if that will solve the problem.

Our company has multiple networks:

Public - which is internet access without corporate server access
Private - internet and corporate servers
Mobile - internet with a hidden ssid

All three are Smartfiltered, but our department has a cable modem. So I jump off the corporate network and attach to the cable modem and voila I'm good.

But here's where it get's weird. I have Evernote, which is an unauthorized application on my corporate laptop. The laptop never goes on the cable modem, and yet Evernote has no problems syncing. Hmm. What is 7 Note doing differently than Evernote?

PS. Why did Evernote buy Penultimate an abomination when compared to 7 Note?

7notes does nothing special.
It uses the network as other apps do.

Probably your settings for the proxy server works on your laptop.
Did you check the network (proxy) settings on your device (iPad/iPhone)?
Please check as follows:

To connect to Evernote from your office, you need to specify a proxy server.

To set the proxy, open the "Settings" app, then tap Wi-Fi.
You will get the list of networks as the following image:



Next, tap the ">" icon on the target network name to get the screen for
"HTTP Proxy":



Regarding the proxy server, please ask your network administrator so that
you can connect the network outside.
