No option to undo changes

I have recently installed 7Notes on my Nexus 7 but am finding it a problem to use as there does not appear to be an undo option. I watched an instructional video which showed such a button but it is not present for me. Could anyone help please?

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for using 7notes on your Nexus 7.

The Undo button is located at the top of the menu as in the following screenshot (this was not taken on Nexus 7):

    Kind regards,
    Toshi

  • Thanks for the reply Toshi. I hadn't noticed that button as on a tablet I find note taking to be only practical in landscape and the button doesn't appear in that mode. Could that be remedied please.

I wasn't actually referring to that button though, I meant an undo button in the handwriting pane which allows for example the undoing of word merging and splitting. I saw it in an instructional video but can't find it on my Nexus.

      Oh I see.
There is no Undo and Redo buttons for the input text window.
Only the iPad version has the features.
There was no space to put the buttons on iPhone and Android smartphones when the first version was released.
I will pass this request to dev team.
      Regards,
      Toshi

  • Thanks Toshi. I think it's important to have that facility if 7Notes is to used as a serious tool.

Equally, the undo button at the top needs to be visible in lansdcape mode as this is the only practical view for serious note taking. Could you ask for that facility also please?

I have noticed that the app hasn't received an update in the year since its initial release. Does this mean that there is no ongoing development and that these requests are likely not to be met?

    Regards
    Martin

When you tap the Menu button (not mazec Menu) of Android or tablet,
you can have "Undo" and "Redo" in the landscape direction.

There is a small team taking care of the app.
There have been so many questions, but few critical issues so far since the release.

    • Thanks, that's better than nothing but not very practical as only one undo can be performed without having to press the menu button again. I hope your team see both undo enhancements as important as the app is expensive in mobile terms so should have these facilities, particularly as the iPad version has the undo facility in the input window.
