Trouble with a Stylus on Kindle Fire

Hi there. I have 7 Notes with my Kindle Fire. I have no problem writing with my finger, but a stylus doesn't seem to work. Is there a trick to using a stylus with 7Notes?

    I am using a stylus pen.
    But I have no problem.

    What kind of pen do you have?
