Just accidentally added a grading period twice to the same class. Can't see a way to remove it. Can you advise?

Thanks for reporting this - there's no way to remove a grading period from a class right now. Sorry!

We'll fix this eventually. In the meantime, if you tell me which class this is for, I can remove the grading period manually. You can email me at riley@activegrade.com if you don't want to leave the class name here.

Hi Riley, That would be great, thanks. The course is Semiconductor II Skills; the grading period is CE Amps. Much appreciated!

I got a little carried away last night and just implemented the darn "remove grading periods from this class" feature. So, if you go to your grading periods screen now, you can select the ones you want to remove and then use the "do stuff with selected" menu to remove them.

In this specific case, Mylene, I didn't remove any of your grading periods because there are actually no duplicates - maybe there are two with the same name, which are actually distinct? You might try changing the name just to see what's going on.

In any case, there's no harm in removing a grading period from a class - you can always add it back, and no information will be lost. Grading periods just work like filters over the rest of the data in ActiveGrade; no actual data is store in them, per se.

Thanks Riley. I had indeed added the same grading period twice to a course -- in other words, it was listed twice in Course Mode, but only appeared once in Admin Mode. But your fix worked great -- thanks again.
