ActiveInbox and "Dark" Gmail Themes

I use a "Dark" theme for my gmail interface (the "Planets" theme, if you're interested). Without ActiveInbox, the entire left-hand menu is transparent, allowing the "Dark" theme to show through, while the text is colored white so as to contrast. However, when I click the ActiveInbox cube icon at the bottom left-hand corner to enable my view of my ActiveInbox statuses they still show up on an opaque white field. This creates an ugly white box floating in space (see screenshot- not sure if it uploaded succesfully).

Any chance the ActiveInbox display could be set to detect whether your gmail theme is Dark or Light and adjust accordingly?
