I’m frustrated

Full panel frozen at top of Gmail

The full Active Inbox panel is currently frozen at the top of my Gmail screen. In other words, when I scroll down, it's stuck there. Is there a way to unfreeze it, or make it so that only the top toolbar is frozen when I scroll down, but not the entire panel? It's quite frustrating because I can't get a full view of my email when I scroll down.

If you click on '/' then the cursor will go to the search bar - that's a Google shortcut.

We used to have an option to freeze the top of the Gmail but it shouldn't still be an option. Can you let me know if you still have the frozen section once you've got it showing with the / cursor.

    Hi Lisa,

It looks like I accidentally posted two questions about the same thing (I had thought this one didn't go through, which is why I posted the second one): https://getsatisfaction.com/activeinb...

I don't understand what you mean. When I click /, nothing happens. Here are screenshots of what I'm talking about if that helps illustrate the problem. You'll see that as I try to scroll down, the full AIB panel stays frozen at the top, giving me only a very small window from which to see my Gmail inbox.

  • Hello Katie

Apologies, this post didn't show me an update. I can see the section you mean now. If you click on the blue Today button and press SHIFT at the same time it will 'unlock' and then you'll be able to close it. It's an option to Lock/Unlock a section if you use it a lot. It's the same click on the button and press SHIFT to lock it.

Once you've done that the section will close.

Let me know if you need more help.
