Half-Baked Idea: Responding to an email with an old due date

This idea is not fully formed but others may get there way before me.

Something unsettling in responding to an email with an old due date (either to do or waiting on). If replying to such an email, at the point of hitting send if the old date is left there, it feels wrong. The user should manually update it, but is there a way AIB could do something if the user is in a rush.

I don't know that we would look to remove it - for our system, the old due date could be there for any number of reasons so if you have a blanket option to remove any old due dates, it could cause more problems.

I would think the easiest way to avoid any of this is regular housekeeping :)

I have a list label of '!Friday where I add things I need to get done by the end of the week, and I also use that prompt to look back at anything that's overdue.

You can always add either a new due date to something if it's not ready to be finished, or a note to mention the old one and add a different date on it.

We could potentially revive the old 'Send and...' floating box.

Currently, it just lets you 'Send and mark as finished'.

But, there's no reason it couldn't have another option to 'Send and mark due/waiting in 2 days'.
