DAWs installed on a now dead drive with no way to move or uninstall.

I had a few AIR products installed on one harddrive, that harddrive is now dead and I can't use, change location, or even uninstall the products without the missing drive.

Is there a way to change the location and reinstall what I need, or am I just screwed without my old drive?

  • I believe if you run the iLok licence software associated with Air products you can de authorise the licence from your list.

It’s been a while since I ran the iLok software but that’s how it works.

Failing that, you can of course send a message to Air support with your problem, if they can’t fix it, you could ask for new licences, which they will probably oblige you with.

They give Air products away left right and centre so I doubt they would stand on ceremony.

  • Hi Tiger,

    Thanks for posting.

Software authorization inquiries cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Software Authorization Assistance inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the AIR Music Tech Support page. Select Software Authorization Assistance from the drop down menu.

    or

    • For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office.

Let me know if you have any questions!
