Hybrid 3: Marking presets as "favorites" possible?

Hello, sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there a way to mark presets as "favorites" so you can go straight to your "go-to" sounds without trying to remember the name of each one through the master menu of hundreds of presets? I see that there is a "save" button, but from reading the manual, it doesn't sound like this method helps... or does it?

  • Hi Francisco,

    Thanks for posting.

You won't be able to save presets as favorites, but this is what the 'Save' function will do within the plugin. This will allow you to save patches you like, essentially as a favorite, which can be recalled for use later. However, I'll be happy to submit this to my development team as a feature request for you.

  • You could create a folder inside the folder where all the Hybrid patches are stored, and call it "Favorites", and then you can save any patches you want in that folder.

    There's a problem.

Hybrid3 creates the default preset folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\AIR Music Technology\Hybrid.

This folder requires administration rights to write so Hybrid3 cannot save your new presets there and forces you to save them somewhere else.

But you can only retrieve your presets from the default folder. And the default folder cannot be changed.

So what is the solution to save and retrieve our own presets ?
