I’m sad

I can't complete the setup for Xpand!2

I recently reinstalled windows 10 on a new SSD and I can't complete the setup, I get about 3/4 of the way through and the bar reverses and I get this message pop up.



I have already installed iLok and activated the license on my PC and it still shows the same message. Could anyone please help :)

    Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your plugin. 

    Just to confirm, are you installing the main program or just the update? If this is just the update you're trying to install you will need to have already downloaded and installed the main program from the AIR website. 

    Can you please provide me with your full system specs and the version of Xpand that you're trying to install? Can you also confirm that you're the administrator on the computer you're trying to install this to?

    Based on the error message you're experiencing, this appears to be an error message associated with the Windows operating system. You may need to connect with a computer technician to resolve this issue. However, I'm seeing some other suggestions online that discuss what to do to resolve this.   • Hi Bill,
    I am installing the main program, last year I bought an Alesis midi keyboard and got a free copy of Xpand!2 so I got the installer from the Alesis website, not from the AIR website.
    I think it is version 2.2.7 as this is what it says on the file. I am the admin of this Computer.
    PC specs
    Intel i5
    Gtx1050ti
    16gb ddr4 ram
    I recently did a fresh install of windows onto a different drive than that I was using before.
